BENGALURU: A 15-year-old girl student committed suicide by jumping off the 20th floor of an apartment building in Kadugodi after her mother scolded her for not studying for the upcoming SSLC examination. The deceased has been identified as Avantika Chaurasia.
The incident occurred after the girl’s mother reprimanded her for not focusing on her studies, which led to an argument. Enraged, the girl went to the 20th floor of the apartment building and jumped off, resulting in her death.
The Kadugodi police visited the spot and have taken up further investigation.
