TUMAKURU: A 14-year-old girl is now pregnant after being raped by her father, at Honnavalli in Tiptur taluk of the district. The matter came to light when the girl was taken to the hospital due to health complications.
The family is originally from Uttar Pradesh and came here just eight months ago for work. The girl is now three months pregnant.
A case has been registered under the POCSO Act and for sexual assault at the Honnavalli police station.
