RAMANAGARA: A 13-year-old boy died while his father sustained serious injuries whne their motorcycle collided with a goods vehicle near Kondahalli Gate in Magadi taluk on Tuesday.
While Harshit died on the spot due to severe blood loss as a result of the injuries, Nagesh was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru for treatment. Harshit and his father Nagesh were returning home after visiting Karalahalli temple when the goods vehicle collided with their two-wheeler.
The Magadi police visited the accident spot and conducted a preliminary investigation. The body of the deceased was shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
