BALLARI: A 13-year-old boy died after he drowned in a farm pond at Karchiganur village in Siruguppa taluk on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Veeresh.
The boy, who was grazing sheep, went to the farm pond to drink water, but slipped and fell into it and died. The body was fished out by locals and firemen. A case was registered at Siruguppa police station.
