BENGALURU: An 11-year-old girl died after electrocution while playing in Narayanahatti village in Anekal taluk on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Tuesday. The deceased was Tanishka.
She was playing near her house as her school has holidays when she came into contact with an electricity pole. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her burn injuries. The parents have expressed outrage against Bescom officials.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Suryanagar police station. Further investigation is under way.
