Superman actress Margot Kidder passes away at 69


Hollywood actress Margot Kidder, who portrayed the iconic character of Lois Lane in the 1978 film Superman, passed away at the age of 69-years. The star was found dead on Sunday at her residence in Montana. Her manager, Camilla Fluxman Pines confirmed the news and said that she died peacefully in her sleep.

Margot, who started her career at the early age of 20 worked in more than 70 films and television shows. She won an Emmy Award for her role in The Haunting Hour. She dated then-prime minister Pierre Trudeau in the 1980s, calling him the “love of my life, my true love” in her radio interview last week.
