Sridevi has done 300 films so far in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. She is survived by two daughters, Janhvi and Khushi.

One of her fans, Google CEO Sundar Pichai tweeted: “Her performance in Sadma was one of my favorites and have special memories of watching Sridevi with my family. She was a pioneer and an inspiration to so many of us. So very sorry for your tragic loss and may she RIP.”

Sridevi had gone to Dubai to attend the wedding of her nephew, Mohit Marwah. She stayed back after the trip to enjoy a small vacation. The actress fell down in the bathroom and injured her head in the bathtub and later accidentally drowned in it. It happened at the posh five-star hotel, where she was staying.
