Ever since her Bollywood debut in 2016, Saiyami Kher has become a popular name in the Indian glamour industry. The 26-year-old impressed everyone with her acting skills in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s film ‘Mirzya’ which also earned her the Dadasaheb Phalke award in the Best Female Debut category.
For a girl whose mother Uttara Mhatre Kher is former Miss India and represented her country at the 1982 Miss World pageant, Saiyami has come a long way to establish herself in the industry and looks set to make her family proud. But, while good looks and glamour seem hereditary for her, not many are aware of the skills Saiyami possesses in sports.
On Monday, the fitness freak gave her fans a glimpse of her efficiency with a badminton racket. Taking to Twitter, Saiyami shared a video of herself going hammer and tongs at the shuttlecock in a grueling practice session before challenging Saina Nehwal for a pending match between them.
“Played last evening after very long. @NSaina I’m going to practice really hard to get 2 points from you whenever we play our pending match,” Saiyami tweeted with a hashtag ‘Monday Motivation’.
Waiting for the match 😄💪…. https://t.co/z9PzNFaaQI

Her tweet also evoked a response from India’s ace shuttler Nehwal who wrote: “Waiting for the match”.
Before her stint in Bollywood and modeling, Saiyami was a total sports freak. She played badminton at the national level during her school and college days. And, if that wasn’t enough, the fact that Saiyami also played cricket and was part of the Maharashtra State team goes on to highlight her love for sports.
