R Madhavan walks out of Ranveer Singh’s Simmba because of THIS reason!

Ranveer Singh‘s Simmba is one of the most exciting films of the year and we can’t wait to see it on the big screen. The movie, which is the Hindi remake of Telugu film – Temper, marks Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh’s first collaboration in Bollywood. And while Sara Ali Khan has been roped in as the female lead, there was a lot of speculation about who will be the villain. Several names were floated and apparently, Abhishek Bachchan and R Madhavan were approached for the role. While Abhishek gave the movie a pass, Madhavan had reportedly given his nod. However, it now looks like Maddy has had to walk out the film and we know exactly why!

R Madhavan suffered a massive injury a couple of weeks and he had to undergo a corrective surgery for the same. With the recovery taking a lot of time and the film set to go on floors in a couple of weeks, R Madhavan had to walk out of Simmba. The actor himself revealed this, when he wrote on Twitter, “Hey folks. So I am a huge crazy fan of Rohit Shetty and his films. As is my son. It breaks both our hearts that I’m not able to be a part of this film because of my injury. I’m well on my way to recovery but this is a huge opportunity and excitement lost.

From what we hear, Rohit Shetty understands Madhavan’s condition and is currently scouting for another villain for his action-packed movie. With the first schedule about to start and with no time to lose (Simmba is scheduled to release on December 28), the makers will have to find a replacement soon.
