Amma Dekh, the song from Nawabzaade is out. The song was the only highlight of the forgettable Jackie Shroff film Stuntman. The new version has been sung by Gurinder Seagal with lyrics by Kumaar. Singers Sukriti Kakar and Ikka have also contributed with the vocals. The singer is also the composer of the song. Well, the lyrics have been altered to make it more contemporary to resonate with the times. It features the three main heroes, Raghav Juyal, Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande with the talented Shakti Mohan. Well, the highlight of this song is definitely Shakti. The fab contemporary dancer proves that no one rules the dance floor when she is in form. The young lady is also looking sizzling in a shimmering salsa costume. Shakti twerks to perfection in the dance number. Honestly, the song is a bit of a dampener. The old song was such a catchy one and became a cult of sorts. Nawabzaade is a dance film but the songs have been a let down so far except Guru Randhawa’s High Rated Gabru.

The film is produced by Lizelle D’Souza, choreographer-filmmaker Remo D’Souza’s wife and Mayur Barot. It is directed by Jayesh Pradhan. It seems even Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor have cameos in the film. Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi is the main female lead. We get to see her in the song as well. She recently told IANS that she felt fortunate to be a part of the film. Stay tuned to BL for more updates!
