Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 might avoid clash with Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika – here’s why

The Republic Day weekend of 2019 is expected to be one of the biggest events for Bollywood as 4 films are releasing during this period. The ventures which are locking horns are Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30, Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Emraan Hashmi’s Cheat India and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Thackrey. While everyone related to these films are not ready to shift the release as they want to take the advantage of the national holiday weekend. But it seems that, the makers of Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 have decided to avoid this clash.

As per the Mid-day report, a source close to the film unit said, “Since the makers are keen on a solo release, they have decided to advance the release by a week.” Super 30 is now expected to release on January 18. Well, if it happens, it’ll be a good decision by the makers as it’ll help the film to get better collections at the box office. Talking about the film, it is directed by Vikas Bahl, who previously helmed Shaandaar and Queen. The film features television actress Mrunal Thakur opposite Hrithik Roshan.

On the professional front, Hrithik will soon start shooting YRF’s untitled venture along with Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor, which will be directed by Siddharth Anand. The film will be shot across 6 countries and 14 world cities and will show for the first time unexplored, breath-taking international locations. Anyway, do you think the makers of Super 30 have taken a smart decision by preponing the release date of their film?
