Everyone who has been desperately waiting to see Hina Khan make a comeback onscreen are going to be in for a major surprise! The Bigg Boss fame, although as promised, has begun shooting for her short film Smart Phone, but you will be shocked to look at that drastic transformation that she’s undergone for the role by ditching her glam-doll role. Taking up to Twitter, Hina herself shared this first look at the sets of the film this morning and explained why she decided to take up a role that’s in complete contrast to her real-life personality. She wrote, “My love for acting has brought me many challenges and I love challenging myself.Transition from a certain image improves my ability to enact and play something completely different.Versatility is breaking out of the regular, I tried hope you’ll like it!”
While we thought Hina Khan’s fans might be a little disappointed considering they won’t get to see her slay in style like how she always does. The reaction is surprisingly turning out to be rather positive. Fans are lauding the actress for experimenting and going beyond her comfort zone. In fact, some are even anticipating that if this is how she has transformed with her look then imagine how she will outperform herself in the film.

The last time we saw her in fiction space was in her debut TV show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in which she featured from 2009 to 2016. She played the role of Akshara, a doting wife, mother, and bahu. After YRKKH, she ventured into the nonfiction space with Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and then Bigg Boss 11. We can’t wait to see Hina’s act in this short film which will now also mark her debut in the digital space. What are your expectations?
