Two acting stalwarts of Hollywood Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are all set to share the screen space for the first time in their acting career of around three decades. Both the actors will collaborate for master story-teller Quentin Tarantino’s mansion movie which is titled Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Quentin is known for delivering movies like Django Unchained, Kill Bill series, Reservoir Dogs, Inglourious Bastards and many more. Interestingly both the actors have worked with Tarantino before, while Leo played a negative character in Django Unchained, Brad played a lead role in Inglourious Bastards.
Quentin, who is writing and directing the film described the film by saying “a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. Talking about the characters of Leo will play the former star of a western TV series named Rick Dalton, whereas Brad portrays his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth. Talking about the story Tarantino said, “Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour…Sharon Tate.
Talking about the script and the story, the Oscar award winner Tarantino said in a statement, “I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was 7 years old.” He further added, “I’m very excited to tell this story of an L.A., and a Hollywood that doesn’t exist anymore. And I couldn’t be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff.” Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will hit the screens worldwide on August 9, 2019.
