Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb is all over the news currently for dropping one after the other controversial statements and making news for all the wrong reasons. The honorable personality of the nation had earlier claimed that internet existed during the Mahabharata era, later he passed comments on Miss World 1997 Diana Hayden and accused her of not being Indian enough to deserve the coveted title. All this had grabbed attention and everyone was wondering what made him say such things.
Biplab Deb was trolled for his statement over Mahabharat and how Tweeps took a dig on him.

And now, again the CM has dropped yet another controversial statement, making all the jaws drop. Biplab Deb’s recent statement will definitely blow your mind.
While addressing a gathering during the Civil service day yesterday, the CM went on to impart his knowledge to the aspirants of the civil service examinations.
He stated, “In the past, people with humanities background usually took the civil service examination but now, even doctors and engineers appear for the same.”
He further went on to say, “Mechanical engineers should not opt for civil services but civil engineers should come forward because it is civil service examination.”
The CM also gave an open challenge to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and said that in 3 years, the growth rate of Tripura would be greater than West Bengal.
