After Kerala, Sushant Singh Rajput now donates Rs 1.25 crore to the Nagaland flood relief program

Rains devastated Kerala a few days back. A lot of help from the netizens is helping the state regain its lost ground because it’s the aftermath of the flood, that’s even more disastrous than the calamity itself. But such natural calamities are an oft occurrence in North-East India. Now Nagaland too is grappling with the chaos that the flood is causing and Sushant Singh Rajput has come out to support the state. He flew to Dimapur, Nagaland to offer a cheque of Rs 1.25 crore to the state government there.

As per Hindustan Times, the state has been ravaged and over 50000 people have been affected. The government had revealed that nearly Rs 800 crore would be required to restore the state. The CM Neiphiu Rio had made a plea on social media for help and Sushant has come to his aid. He thanked the actor for his gesture and wrote, “I am moved at the kind gesture made by @itsSSR and his team towards #NagalandFloods and willingness to help #Nagaland at this crucial hour. Your contribution is encouraging and I hope to see the rest of the nation come forward selflessly, to #DonateForNagaland.” The actor also seemed really pleased to be there.
